Have you redirect URL include the http protocol, in short the completely URL? Have you tried this without other plugins? Maybe a other plugin change the redirect, have topic int the header.

Can you please test too? - create a cpt with Types - create a custom Role based on the Editor role, with User Role Editor and see if Adminimize can hide the cpt from backend menu, for that role?

Sorry, tested now also this feature to hide a menu item via the section Menu in Adminimize settings. After login as this custom role, it works fine, no problems.

The "fixed" version got the error message to me as well. I removed the one line change Frank made and put in the two line version of it from wendigo73, and the error message is gone....
